FIRST ATTEMPT

On an earlier post I wrote that I was going to have a go at beading. I have seen some wonderful blogs that have given me the inspiration to have a go at this craft. I have 2 favourites they are Triz Designs and Smadar's Treasure. The pieces they produce are just amazing and I am sure I will never reach that standard. But anyway here is my first attempt, a beaded tube, hopefully the first of many. I used the book I bought but I also found it very helpful to go onto Youtube and watch videos of people beading.

I visit those same beautiful blogs and find myself amazed and mesmerized at the intricate beading they accomplish. I love jewelry making but I don't think I have the patience (or the talent) to ever create the kinds of things they do. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your progress!

There should be a warning printed on every package of those tiny beads. They're truly addicting!!!

Lucky for me (or not so lucky, depending on how you look at it), I was able to go to the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee for several years. I missed this year, and my credit card thanked me.

It is very nice. I love the blue colors. I visit so many blogs, that have such wonderful information, and you tube is very helpful too. Good luck on many more beautiful creations.
