It is my daughter's birthday today, she is 8 years old. Amy is my youngest daughter. We are having a birthday tea later when she gets home. We got her a Wii for her birthday and she has already been bowling before she went off this morning. It is a beautiful day here, it's a shame she had to go to school. I think everyone should be able to have a day off on their birthday. This picture was taken on last year's birthday. She loves watching Dr Who and a Dalek was at the top of her birthday wish list.

Lucky her! I turned 8 on a Saturday over winter break. She's more fortunate than me. My friend got my birthday wrong. She called me the day before.
What a beautiful daughter you have and it is a shame she has to go to school on a lovely day like today in the UK. I used to love Dr Who when I was young although the Daleks used to make me hide behind the sofa. Happy birthdy Amy.

I really like the Daleks. We get to watch Dr.Who on the public television channels. You will be eliminated! Eliminated! What a great toy.
The Daleks are supposed to have dancers inside the costumes to make them appear graceful when they move around. They are kind of funny.
I hope she likes her birthday present.
