AMY'S FIRST PROPER SNOWFALL

Amy is 8 years old and this is the first proper snowfall she has experienced.  She got really excited on Sunday when it started to fall and when she went to bed Sunday night she could hardly wait for the morning.  This picture was taken at 6.45 am Monday morning.  She was dressed and out there before I could say anything to her.  Unfortunately for her, her school was not one of those that closed so she had to spend the day at school.  Luckily the school gave them plenty of playtime outside so that they could make the most of this experience.  We don't get this amount of snow very often in the part of the UK where we live.  As soon as she was home from school, she was changed and back out there until nightfall.

I live in Canada, and we saw on the news last night about the snowfall in England. It is so wonderful to see people ...especially children, who are thrilled with the snow! We take it for granted here, because we get ALOT of it every winter.

We don't get much here, but it is great to see your kidlet enjoying the experience!

She has such laughter in her eyes, it's adorable. It's funny how you appreciate things more through children's eyes.

Wow, it's so sweet to see children enjoy themselves like that, here we don't get any snow at all.

Amy should live here...over 90 inches of snow already this year! Personally, I hate the snow, so I can trade places with Amy anyday!

Make the most of the snow while you can! I was glad to hear that you received your PR visa so quickly. Wishing you all the best with your preparations to move to Australia.

Best wishes,

Roz
